Ok,  I hear a lot of people say that they want to be an Actor/Actress.  Yet these people don't really know what acting is.  They think that all they have to do is "memorize" a script, and make faces at a camera.  They don't know how to be organic and real.  They fall into traps in which they push a line or make a face thinking that I am an actor.  If you don't know what I mean about any of this stuff then I am talking to/about you.  If you do then that means you are actually looking at acting as you are supposed to.

First to be organic is not to sell anything,  it is to have a real thought and a real point of view.  You don't have to sell the line with your facial expressions and with voice inflections,  you just say it and the audience will "get" it. 

Now a trap is a line or moment in which you automatically want to "sell" it.  For example,  look at the Bones contest,  the line, "It's incomplete,  I suck".  Watch how almost every person tries to "sell" the line,  they raise their voice or look incredulous at the other actor and then make a face then they say the line.  Now an Actor will do whatever it takes to stay away from falling into these traps.  It is HARD people,  that is why only a small group of people actually find success in this industry.  That is it for my rant.  Enjoy the rest of your day.
